The One True God: We believe there is one God who lives forever in three persons; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is loving, holy and just. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22)
The Scriptures Inspired: We believe the Bible is God’s Word to the world, speaking to us with authority and without error. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life. (II Peter 1:19-21; I Peter 1:23-25; John 17:17; II Timothy 3:15,17; Hebrews 4:12)
Jesus, Our Savior: We believe that Jesus is both God and Man; that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31-35); He led a sinless life (Hebrews 7:26; I Peter 2:22); took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again (I Corinthians 15:3; II Corinthians 5:21) (Matthew 28:6; I Corinthians 15:4); ascended to the Father where He reigns both now and forever and He will return to rule the earth in power and love. (Acts 1:9, 11; 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Man’s Creation and Fall: God created man as good and upright. However, man, by voluntary sin, fell and incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God. (Genesis 1:26-27, 31; Genesis 2:17; 3:6; Psalms 51:5; Romans 3:23; 5:12-14)
The Salvation of Man: Man’s only hope of freedom from sin and death is in Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross in the place of sinful man, freeing mankind from the penalty of death and the bondage to sin; and giving man the gift of righteousness and life that is abundantly blessed and eternal. (John 3:16; Romans 5:17-21; 6:23)
Salvation by Grace: Anyone can be restored to close relationship with God by believing Jesus paid for their sins and by asking Him to be their Savior and Lord. In this way, the person open's their life to the Presence of God and is washed and made new by the Holy Spirit’s power and is adopted into God’s family becoming God's son or daughter. Salvation is the gift of God, received by faith and not by any effort or work of man. (I John 1:8-9; 5:11-12; Romans 10:9; John 1:12-13; 3:3; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)
Work of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit lives and works in believers to continually wash them from sin and fill them with all the goodness of God. He also comforts and guides believers in all areas of life. In addition, all believers are entitled to and should ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. With the baptism of the Holy Spirit comes power for life and service; and various supernatural gifts and ministries. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; I Corinthians 12:7-10)
Divine Healing, Provision and Deliverance: Divine healing and freedom from poverty and torment from the devil is the privilege of all believers and is provided for by Christ’s work on the cross. God desires believers to live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others.(Isaiah 53:4-5; 2 Corinthians 8:9; Colossians 2:15; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:18)
Water Baptism & The Lord's Supper: Water Baptism is to be pursued by all believers and is to be accomplished by submersion, as a symbol of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection for us, and our new life in Him. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4) The Lord’s Supper, consisting of bread and the fruit of the vine, is to be shared by believers, as a thanksgiving of all Jesus accomplished for us on the cross, a celebration of His Presence in the Church and to help us look forward to His victorious return. (Luke 22:19-20; I Corinthians 11:26)
The Church (Worldwide & Local): The Church, which is the family of God, consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God's love and grace to all nations and baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God. (Matthew 28:18-20) (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:19-22; 3:21; I Corinthians 12:27-28)
The Believer’s Role in the Church: We believe that each believer is an essential part of the Church and that it is duty and privilege of each believer to, within his ability, support a local church with his regular presence, giving and service. (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:44-45; II Corinthians 8:3; I Corinthians 16:1-2; Romans 12:4-6; I Peter 4:10)
The Resurrection and the Final Judgment: We believe in the resurrection of every person; to eternal life for the believer and eternal judgment for the lost. (I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelations 2:11-12, 14-15; II Thessalonians 2:12)
